I first discovered it on a date that ended abruptly after I referred to Hackney as a town instead of a borough he walked out, I laughed. Geography drama aside, the venue clearly left an impression, because it’s the kind of spot you remember: buzzy, central, and perfect for drinks with a stylish crowd.
