Being the sister to one of the worlds biggest stars can be a difficult thing to live with, however Miss Knowles has managed to transition from just being known as Beyonces’ little sister to Solange Knowles trendsetter, jet-setter and fashion icon.
A while ago my friend and I visited a restaurant in Shepard’s Bush called The Meat and Wine Co. It was a lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated, modern and spacious, the bar was located downstairs and the restaurant upstairs. We had these lovely window seats overlooking the busy side passage leading to Westfield White city shopping Centre, it was wonderful.

Ones to watch is usually where I write about a new designer, photographer or emerging person in fashion. Josh Olins however is not, having already been in the industry for 10 years, Olins is a very well established fashion photographer whom I aspire to be like someday. He has worked with some great fashion power houses such as; Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton and shot editorial for magazines such as Vogue, i-d, W and Dazed & Confused.

The combination of black and white has always been timeless, ageless and chic. From the little black dress paired with a smart white blazer to the slightly controversial white court shoe. Put together black and white are the two easiest colours to wear when trying to achieve a more effortless elegant look. This s probably why so many designers paired the two colours this season, although with a slight edge.
