The L’Oréal Paris setting spray has to be one of the most mediocre setting sprays out there. It is not terrible, but it is also not the product that will transform your makeup routine.

It gives a light mist and can help take away some of that powdery finish after applying makeup. However, when it comes to serious longevity, oil control, or keeping a full-glam face in place all day, it does not do enough. If you have a long event, a hot day ahead, or want makeup that truly stays put, you may need something stronger.

That said, the price matters. It is affordable, easy to find, and works well enough for everyday makeup. For a quick refresh before leaving the house, it does the job.

Would I call it a must-have? No. But for the price, can you really complain?
