The Emerging Minimalist Brand Out of NYC

Fforme, the up-and-coming luxury brand from New York City, has quickly made a name for itself with its minimalist designs and flowing, sculptural fabrics. Founded by a group of industry veterans, the brand brings together expertise from some of fashion’s biggest names. The goal? To redefine luxury with simplicity, elegance, and wearability.

Launched with a focus on clean lines and sophisticated tailoring, Fforme’s collections have resonated with those seeking timeless, understated fashion. The designs are minimal yet impactful, with soft, flowy fabrics that create a sense of effortless grace.

Paul Helbers, the brand’s original creative director, played a pivotal role in shaping its vision. With a history of working for iconic houses like The Row and Louis Vuitton, Helbers infused Fforme with a refined aesthetic. However, in a surprising turn, Helbers left the brand in July. Stepping into his shoes is Frances Howie, who has quietly taken on the role without any official announcement regarding Helbers’ departure.

Howie brings a wealth of experience to Fforme, having worked for esteemed labels like Celine and Alexander McQueen. Known for her keen eye for detail and refined minimalism, she is expected to carry forward the brand’s ethos while adding her own distinct touch.

As anticipation builds for the next collection, all eyes are on Howie. Will she maintain the brand’s signature minimalism or steer it in a new direction? We shall see!
