In 2020 it was revealed that Kanye West had signed a 10year deal with Gap, ( a relatively mediocre American high-street brand for those who don’t know). So far we’ve only seen a few ugly hoodies here and there, nothing substantial. However it has new been revealed that we should be getting a full collection designed by Kanye, Demna Gvasalia via Balenciaga in collaboration with Gap. Yay! (Side eye).

“This project allowed me to join forces [with Ye] to create utilitarian fashion for all.” He also told Vogue online, “there’s no ego when we collaborate, just a mutual drive to evolve and do something great and new.” Which is very surprising for anyone who’s witnessed Kanye’s past antics.

The first collection will be dropping June 2022 and a second later in the year. Lets hope it wont be another hobo collection filled with overpriced ripped hoodies and t-shirts.
