The Sudanese model has taken the fashion world by storm, becoming the second BLACK model to open for Prada. Second only to Naomi Campbell (in 2021 and onwards being the 1st BLACK anything should be a thing of the past).

Background|  The South Sudanese beauty was born in Cairo Egypt, but actually grew up in Manchester New Hampshire.

Discovery| Yai was discovered in October 2017 during Howard University’s homecoming week, by a professional photographer who asked to take her picture. The picture went viral and major modelling agencies such as Next model management and IMG models came knocking.

Work| Apart from striding down the runways of Milan, London and Paris, Miss Yai has also been featured in Vogue (UK, USA, Korea & Brazil, to name a few). 

As of July 2018 Yai became the spokesmodel for Estée Lauder!
