Tom Ford is shaking things up and honestly, who’s surprised? The designer has confirmed that his Autumn/Winter 2015 show is heading back to the U.S., stepping away from London Fashion Week just this once.

Speaking to WWD, Mr. Ford explained the move was purely logistical. With Fashion Weeks running a week later than usual, his show would directly clash with the Oscars and if there’s one place Tom Ford must be during Awards Season, it’s Los Angeles, dressing Hollywood’s finest for the red carpet.

“I love London, and I am not abandoning London Fashion Week,” he clarified. “It’s a one-time thing… and I plan to be back in September.” 

And don’t worry, his menswear collections will still show in London, keeping one foot firmly on British soil.
