The fashion world has lost a true icon. Giorgio Armani, the Italian designer whose minimalist elegance transformed menswear and red carpets alike, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 in his Milan home.
Armani’s journey began humbly in Piacenza, Italy, where he worked as a window dresser and later as a designer for Nino Cerruti in the 1960s. In 1975, he launched his eponymous label, quickly redefining menswear with soft tailoring, unstructured suits, and a relaxed sophistication that became his signature.
Armani’s influence didn’t stop at clothing. The brand expanded into fragrances, accessories, home goods, and luxury hospitality, becoming a multi-billion-euro empire adored by Hollywood stars, global elites, and fashion lovers worldwide. His iconic power suits, shimmering eveningwear, and effortless chic aesthetic cemented his reputation as the master of understated glamour.

Even in his final days, Armani remained hands-on, guiding his company with the same meticulous eye that made it legendary. A funeral chamber will be held at Teatro Armani in Milan, followed by a private service.
Giorgio Armani leaves behind a legacy of timeless elegance, innovation, and inspiration. The world of fashion may have lost its king, but his influence will forever shape the way we dress, dream, and define cool.
