Nyagua Ruea is the face fashion can’t stop watching. Born in Kenya to South Sudanese parents, Ruea manifested her modelling dreams at just nine years old and by 16, she made them real. After submitting a few casual snapshots to Beth Models, she was signed almost instantly. The rest? Fashion history in the making.
What makes Nyagua stand out isn’t just her striking presence, it’s her elegance, strength, and quiet power on the runway. In 2022, she landed the cover of British Vogue’s all-Black model issue, shot by Rafael Pavarotti, and let’s just say icon behaviour.
Since then, she’s walked for the likes of Valentino, Saint Laurent, Schiaparelli, and Hermès, and appeared in editorials for Vogue España and Vogue Hong Kong. She also fronted a major Dolce & Gabbana Beauty campaign, proving she’s not just a runway girl she’s a face of the future.

Effortless. Powerful. Poised. Nyagua Ruea is one to watch, and then rewatch on every catwalk recap!
