Restaurant Review| Kitty Hawk

A Brunch to Remember

Let me start by saying this, Kitty Hawk might just be home to the best brunch I’ve had in 2025. Hands down.

Located in central London, just a stone’s throw from Trafalgar Square and right near the buzz of Oxford Circus, Kitty Hawk sits on the top floor of a stunning building. With panoramic views of the city, the space is absolutely gorgeous especially at sunset, when golden hour lights up the skyline. The setting alone had me sold.

Now, let’s talk food.

To start, we ordered the Hereford steak tartare with egg yolk and sourdough  rich, silky, and perfectly seasoned. Alongside it came the crunchy coconut prawns, served with jalapeño and lime, and a fresh mint and coriander chutney. The flavour combo? Unreal.

For mains, we went for the cruffins a genius croissant-muffin hybrid. One was filled with sausage, steak, bacon, mushroom, ketchup, and a fried egg. The other was topped with smoked salmon, spinach, lox cream cheese, and a perfectly poached egg. We added a side of fries (because obviously), and washed it all down with a glass of rosé because what’s brunch without fries and wine?

The cruffins were flaky yet satisfying lighter than a burger bun but still hearty. The hollandaise sauce was dreamy, and everything from the bacon to the smoked salmon tasted fresh and well-executed.

Kitty Hawk delivered across the board beautiful views, impeccable service, and incredible food. I’ll 100% be back. Probably with more friends. And definitely for more rosé.
