Ib Kamara, the visionary stylist and editor-in-chief of Dazed, has officially stepped down to focus on his role as creative director at Off-White. His tenure at Dazed was transformative, redefining how the magazine engaged with youth culture, fashion, and identity.
Kamara’s leadership embraced a global perspective, amplifying underrepresented voices and pushing the boundaries of editorial storytelling.
During his time at the magazine, Dazed became a hub for cultural exploration, with Kamara describing it as “the National Geographic of youth culture.” His fearless approach to fashion, blending African heritage with avant-garde styling, set a new standard for editorial direction.

Succeeding Kamara is Ted Stansfield, who has been with Dazed since 2015, serving in various capacities including Editorial Director of Dazed Digital and AnOthermag.com, and Editor of Another Man. Stansfield’s appointment as editor-in-chief is set to commence in June, with his inaugural issue expected in September.
Though Kamara’s chapter at Dazed has closed, his influence on the magazine—and fashion as a whole—remains undeniable.
