Restaurant review| Deluxe Manna’s Bottomless Brunch Experience

A Taste of Congo

A few weeks ago, we visited Deluxe Manna, a well-known Congolese restaurant in North London, renowned for its authentic cuisine and vibrant atmosphere.

While they don’t host bottomless brunches every weekend, these special events are worth marking on your calendar. The brunch includes a starter, main course, dessert, and bottomless Prosecco or Muscat—a sweet wine that perfectly complements the flavours of their dishes.

For starters, I indulged in ntaba, a beloved Congolese dish featuring barbecued goat meat, tender and seasoned to perfection. For my main, I enjoyed kwanga, a fermented cassava staple, paired with another serving of ntaba. Dessert was a delightful treat of puff puff—soft, doughy bites—served with chocolate spread and peanut butter. Every bite transported me back home, with flavours that felt like a warm hug from the Congo.

The ambiance was electric, far from your typical quiet dining experience. A DJ kept the energy high with hits from R&B, Afro Beats, Amapiano, and Hip Hop. While we attended the 12 PM sitting, the 2 PM slot looked even livelier on their social media.

The service was exceptional—our attentive waitress ensured our experience was flawless. If you can’t make it to their next brunch on December 28th, a visit to Deluxe Manna for their delicious food and stellar service is still a must!
