Condé Nast has announced the appointment of Raul Martinez as the global creative director of Vogue, a role that entails overseeing the creative direction of all international editions.
Bringing a wealth of experience, Martinez rejoins Vogue, where he initially served as an associate art director in 1988 before founding creative agency AR New York in 1996. After returning to the magazine in 2009, he ascended to Condé Nast’s chief creative officer in 2015, briefly leaving in 2021 to join Victoria’s Secret as creative director.
In his new capacity, Martinez will spearhead the integration of video storytelling across Vogue’s various platforms. Reporting directly to Anna Wintour, the global editorial director of Vogue and chief content officer of Condé Nast, Martinez is set to commence his role on February 5th, marking a significant chapter in Vogue’s ongoing creative evolution.
