Have you guys heard of Gallio, the Mediterranean pizza place? No. Well, now you have!
Is Gallio the best Mediterranean restaurant you’ve ever been to, offering some of the best pizza, flat bread and breadstick? Or is it another over hyped Instagram worthy restaurant that offers basic pizza, basic customer service and watered down cocktails?

So we went to Gallio to try out their bottomless brunch, which offers bottomless pizza and bottomless drinks. The drinks are wine, beer, apple spread and pomegranate and rolls. Spritz it was actually quite lovely and refreshing, so you were given 90 minutes to eat as much as you want and drink as much as you can. The Appetiser came it was. Hummus and some flat bread. There was about five of us at this table. We were literally giving one plate of hummus and four pieces of bread, which did not make sense considering the size of the party. And I had already pre booked this, so they knew we were going to be a group of five. Then we ordered the pizzas. We each ordered a different pizza because we wanted to sample all the different.
The pizza’s we ordered the lamb pizza, the chicken pizza, the spicy pizza and the tomato pizza. I can tell you with the full confidence, none of these pizzas were outstanding. The flavours were not amazing, only thing that I could say that was pretty good was probably the dough. It was nice and flat It was crispy, however, the lamb pizza was not tasty considering how tasty lamb can be. The lamb pizza tasted very bland. It wasn’t well seasoned, there was really nothing going on for that pizza. The spicy dnuja pizza it wasn’t really spicy. It wasn’t giving anything. The chicken pizza was probably the most OK pizza, but who can go wrong with chicken, it’s. The food overall was not very good. It is value for money. However it’s not value for the experience and going out of your way to go to eat. I’m done just to eat mediocre pizza.

I could probably get better pizza down the street from my house. Now let’s talk about the service. The service was absolutely below par. We waited for so long to get our drinks. You are given 90 minutes to order and have all your bottomless drinks and food. We literally waited, 10 minutes for before somebody even came to our table, then waited another 10 minute Before she came back and our drinks, and even then someone else we had to call someone else to go get our drinks. The place was a little bit busy, however it came across as though people were ignoring us.
So I’ll have to say overall, my experience, that guidance was not great and this isn’t the first time I’ve been to Gallio’s. I’ve been there before with a friend. You went for the same bottomless brunch, and I can say with full certainty the service was just as bad, except the pizza was better because this is before they changed their menu. Now the venue itself is beautiful. It’s located on the top floor of the South colonnade. A beautiful chic restaurant, beautiful decor, clean bathrooms. Although there’s only two cubicles apart from that. One of the things that I really do like about this restaurant is the fact that it’s located within a shopping centre. So even if you’re sitting by the door, you’re far away from. The cold, the breeze and the cold air just constantly hitting you in the face. Now would I go back to Gallia’s? Probably not. I could probably get better pizza somewhere else, although I would say it is value for money for their bottomless. Pizza and drinks, which cost us just under £40 each. So if you’re not big on flavour some pizza flavours, some food, but you just want to have some basic food and some OK drinks definitely go to galios. It is a place you can have a good time and if the chefs. Pizza doesn’t cut it for you. Galios also offers pizza making classes so you can make your own pizza, add a little seasoning, maybe marinate that lamb before you put it on the pizza. Then Galliers might just be the place for you.
