After moving to Paris to study fashion design at the prestigious Parsons Paris. Johannes Boehl Cronau went on to gain an internship in Antwerp with Haider Ackermann, where he gained a great deal of practical knowledge of the ins-and-outs of fashion brand. 

In 2015 Cronau enrolled onto a masters program at Central Saint Martins, where he gained a MSc in womenswear design. 

The first Ioannes collection dropped Summer 2018, which was said inspired by the designers trips to Japan, Italy and The Middle East.
