Katie Eary has unveiled her high-street collection for River Island as part of its Design Forum collaboration series. The range will launch on February 18 during London Fashion Week with a short film, staged at a Fash/On Film event.
Inspired by the mad, energetic spirit of Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the offering is a colourful mash-up of fluid silhouettes and wild prints, from lizard-patterned tops in vibrant shades to leopard-print mini dresses with a flame motif rising from the hem.
Swimwear is also a key part of the collection, including plunging one-pieces and bright bikinis in tropical hues. Accessories come by way of a pair of leopard-print platform sandals, with gold detailing, and – for those looking for something a little more discreet – a fringed leather over-the-shoulder bag.
